It’s hard to believe it’s Thanksgiving already.

We’re in the midst of autumn. The first snow has come and gone. And while the golden leaves still cover the ground, people are already replacing their pumpkins, cinnamon, and hot apple cider with Christmas trees, evergreen wreaths, and hot cocoa.

For me, the year is going by so fast. That may be because I spent most of it waiting to welcome my little girl into the world. With a first trimester that had me lying in bed or hovering over any porcelain throne I could find and a second trimester where I lived for ice chips and ice cream to avoid baking in the hot sun, I was happy that she made an early and rather dramatic arrival (I’ll save that story for another post).

Despite that unexpected entrance, I have to say, she is the blessing I am most thankful for this year.

She is the love my husband and I share, personified.

She is a gift from God.

And I may be biased, but I think she is both beautiful and amazing.
